I’m Ava Thomas
I’m a 19-year-old Entrepreneur from Ithaca, NY. I am an art major at Binghamton University and I play for the Women's Basketball team.
Here's a little bit about me!
In August 2020, I started an Art business as a quarantine hobby. I sold my silly original characters on stickers, keychains, totes, pillows, etc. Through TikTok, I was able to create a platform that connected me to thousands of people around the world. I have sold to 30+ different countries and all over the U.S. My highlights from this business were selling at in-person events like the Ithaca Farmer’s Market, Ithaca Fest, and Apple Fest. It was so amazing to interact with people at my booths. Although I do not currently sell online, I hope to one day get this business started again
One year after I started my art business, I started my photography business. I guess I thought I wasn’t busy enough? August 2021 was the summer before my senior year of high school. I started by taking senior portraits of my friends and not soon after that, I was taking pictures of everything. I was at all the sporting events, musicals, proms, graduations, you name it. I even graduated with a camera in my hand.
After I graduated, I decided to stay in Ithaca for a year. I took online classes full time along with working as the district photographer at the Ithaca City School District.
